Advising The BU kombucha in acquiring DSD distributors to help grow their sales across the country.

Michael helped create and develop sales plan region by region. Introduce and selected broker team throughout the country by region as well as by channel of trade.

Mentor and develop sales teams to better manage themselves, their broker networks and develop key account lists for each region.

Help develop additional sales for existing distributors by focusing on key accounts that support those warehouses in said regions. Suggest secondary distributors when needed in regions.

Develop and suggest key trade shows to help develop key accounts and distributors.

Work with top management to develop sales projections and marketing budget (including demo, promotional, slotting and other fee’s).

President of Sales: Kohana Coffee Dec 2016 – Aug 2018

Since joining Kohana Coffee as President of Sales, Michael has brought on a National Sales Team (3 Regional Managers) in addition to the Food Service Director of Sales who was already on board and working under Michael for direction and guidance. Michael has also hired and trained an Inside Sales Coordinator and a Field Marketing Manager. Michael also helped launch a new line of Kohana Coffee products; the conventional Non-GMO concentrates. All of this accomplished in less than 6 months.

Executive Vice President of Sales: Living Intentions Sept 2014 – Aug 2016

Trimmed down an extensive line of products to a core line of products. Increased sales the first full year by 30%. Second year increased the distribution DC’s of UNFI, KeHE and other independents distributors throughout the country. Built a national broker team.

Vice President of Sales: Brads Raw Foods Oct 2011 – Sep 2014

Helping Brad move from direct sales into national distribution in Natural, Convention and Foodservice. Helped Brads Raw Foods reach sales of 1.7 million in April 2014.

Vice President/ Partner : Primal Spirit Foods  Jan 2000 – Oct 2013

We manufacture and distribute a natural snack. The snack is a meatless jerky called Primal Strips and Primal Sticks. It is made from either Soy, Seitan or Shitaki Mushrooms.
